Facility Cleaning - Columbia

Job Title

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors. Will use industrial vacuum cleaners, scrubbing, and buffing machines.
• Dust and wash walls and ceilings. Dust and polish light fixtures. Wash and replace blinds. Will be required to use ladders if necessary, to reach high places.
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean under and behind certain areas.
• Remove stains from surfaces such as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Emptying trash cans in offices and throughout production areas.
• Cleaning restrooms, locker rooms, and break rooms.
• All facets of cleaning

Requirements:

• Self motivated, self starter
• Must be able to follow a task chart.
• Must be dependable.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and a background check.
• Must be able to work independently and closely with a supervisor.
• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
• Steel toed boots
