PT Facilities Worker; Bulloch Wellness

Part‑Time Hourly Facilities Worker Position

This position is located at the Bulloch Wellness Center in Statesboro, Bulloch County, GA.

• Perform various facility support functions under general supervision for the Southeast Health District’s Wellness Program.
• Load, unload, and receive supplies and deliveries.
• Assemble equipment and deliver supplies throughout the district.
• Complete other assigned duties as needed.

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

• One year of experience in the specific area of assignment.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills.

The Southeast Health District encourages employees to engage in regular wellness activities and promote health and well‑being. Employees may use up to 30 minutes in a workday for wellness activities, generally in the form of two 15‑minute breaks or one 30‑minute break.

Current state employees are subject to State Personnel Board salary rules. Preference will be given to candidates holding educational credentials recognized by CHEA and/or the U.S. Department of Education. Successful candidates may be subject to pre‑employment drug screening and a criminal background check. Employees may be required to assist in emergency responsibilities as a term and condition of employment.
