Job Summary

Join our Columbus Forge facility and play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations by maintaining and repairing complex machinery and equipment. As part of the maintenance department, you will work on-site to troubleshoot, repair, and perform planned maintenance on equipment with electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our production processes and the safety of our workplace.

3rd Shift position: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM - 8:30 AM

What You Will Do
  • Perform daily and monthly planned maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using service manuals, drawings, and equipment performance descriptions.
  • Conduct tests using instruments such as oscilloscopes, recorders, and digital measuring tools to identify faulty circuits and resolve issues.
  • Replace or adjust components such as amplifiers, logic cards, memory units, feedback devices, high-voltage switches, and printed circuit boards as needed.
  • Calibrate and service electronic and electrical systems, including hard-wired and computerized controls, power distribution systems, and instrumentation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Operate PIVs (Powered Industrial Vehicles) such as forklifts, yard cranes, articulated manlifts, etc.
  • Collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) policies.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience in industrial maintenance, working directly with machines involving both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in using test instruments and tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Prior work experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
