The Shipping Team Lead collaborates with shipper/receivers to ensure accurate and efficient shipping operations, provides guidance and support to the team, communicates priorities, and assists in troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts, all while working independently under minimal supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Collaborate with shipper/receivers to prepare, receive, load, and unload shipments, ensuring smooth operations within the department.
- Ensure accurate and quality work by performing all shipping functions, including completing necessary documentation, utilizing relevant software and technology, and inspecting products for quality.
- Support and validate team efforts by answering questions, providing guidance, and confirming that tasks align with department standards and objectives.
