Maintenance Technician
Seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain production equipment, support equipment reliability, and help minimize downtime. The technician will report to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with team members across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily maintenance on food manufacturing and packaging equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and make repairs or replace faulty parts
- Assist with the installation and removal of machinery
- Assist with spare parts inventory and notify the Maintenance Manager when parts need to be ordered
Support the production team during downtime events and perform other assigned maintenance tasks
Required Qualifications:
- Previous mechanical experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of basic hand tools
- Ability to use basic power tools
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in a maintenance position or equivalent education
- Previous food packaging experience
