Facility Maintenance Staff

Part time custodian performing cleaning, light maintenance, and room setups for a busy community center.

Mill Race Center is a local community center dedicated to supporting adults through health and fitness programs, educational opportunities, social and travel groups, and support services. The center serves as a welcoming hub for community engagement and lifelong wellbeing. It also hosts a variety of events and activities, including programs held on evenings and weekends.

Facility Maintenance Staff Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $ 15.00 / hour
  • Part Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:30am to 01:00pm)
  • Perform general cleaning duties for a local community center
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms
  • Dust, sweep, and vacuum floors Refill paper products and supplies
  • Remove trash and recycling
  • Perform light/basic maintenance tasks
  • Set up rooms for adult health and fitness programs, learning activities, travel and social groups, support services, and weekend events
  • Set up tables and move/arrange chairs
  • Move, set up, and adjust air walls

Facility Maintenance Staff

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of related custodial, facility, or maintenance experience
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Physically capable of moving furniture and equipment
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable
  • Able to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
