Experienced Maintenance Tech

Banyan Living, a leader in luxury apartment management across the greater Cleveland and Columbus metropolitan areas, is looking for an Experienced Maintenance Technician to enhance our exceptional team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our properties are well-maintained and that our residents enjoy a comfortable living environment.

In the role of Experienced Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks that uphold our high standards of property management. Your expertise will allow you to handle various repairs, troubleshoot issues, and maintain our facilities efficiently.

• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance of buildings and grounds to ensure safety and functionality
• Respond promptly to maintenance service requests from residents, ensuring high-quality customer service
• Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances
• Assist in preparing vacant units for new tenants, ensuring all tasks are completed to standard
• Document maintenance tasks and manage inventory of tools and supplies effectively
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to improve property condition and resident satisfaction
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repair techniques
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to tasks
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact positively with residents and team members
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds
• Availability for on-call duties and emergency repairs
