Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for the 3rd shift, with the option to work Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday, from 11 PM to 7:30 AM. This role involves overseeing a team of three technicians and ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of various systems within the shopping center's common areas.

• Oversee repairs and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, plumbing, architectural features, and other components in the shopping center's common areas.
• Utilize documentation such as maintenance and repair procedures, manufacturer’s data, safety data sheets, preventative maintenance programs, and work orders to complete tasks efficiently.
• Execute and implement preventative maintenance and repairs for all systems and equipment, with guidance from the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
• Coordinate and perform maintenance and repair for other department systems.
• Prepare and maintain accurate written records, logs, test reports, and work orders.
• Monitor and report inventory of parts and supplies for the Operations Department.
• Ensure all furnishings, equipment, and tools are maintained in safe working order.
• Report conditions that require further attention to prevent unsafe environments.
• Provide input and feedback to minimize repair and maintenance expenses within the department.

• Expertise in mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in maintenance repair, carpentry, and facilities maintenance.
• 5+ years of experience in managing commercial properties.
• Management experience is required.

• Strong skills in drywall repair and carpentry.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and provide leadership.

The role is based in the common areas of Easton Mall, covering halls, entrances, and bathrooms. Maintenance of individual stores is not required. The work environment is dynamic and requires attention to detail in ensuring safe and efficient operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $35.00/hr.
