We are currently seeking a dedicated Material Handler to help ensure the seamless operation of our warehouse. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the daily flow of materials through accurate shipping, receiving, and delivering as required. You will oversee inventory control and ensure a clean and safe working environment while also maintaining and repairing warehouse equipment.
This role requires some overnight travel to various sites.
Essential Responsibilities- Verify all incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy.
- Efficiently manage and streamline shipping and receiving processes.
- Operate forklifts with precision and a strong emphasis on safety.
- Maintain accurate inventory control and select orders with precision.
- Assist technicians by loading materials according to their needs.
- Ensure the warehouse is safe, clean, and that waste is disposed of properly.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with field technicians to satisfy their warehousing requirements.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a warehouse environment; experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred.
- Experience in handling inbound and outbound stock effectively.
- A proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic setting with changing customer needs.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Forklift Operator Certification is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure smooth operations.
- Able to meet the physical demands of the job, which includes sitting, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- This position requires travel between various Ledcor warehouses as needed.
