Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Purpose:
Maintain and repair large and small industrial equipment. Must know, practice, and be in compliance with all safety rules and procedures.

This includes always wearing required personal protective equipment; participating in safety training; engaging in and supporting safety activities including reporting hazards, unsafe work practices & near misses, incidents involving property damage, and any / all injuries – no matter how minor – immediately to their supervisor or manager.
Key Responsibilities Maintenance (60%)- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on a daily, bi‑weekly, quarterly, and annual basis or per preventive maintenance program.
- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair any malfunctions or breakdowns.
- Responsible for lockout tagout (LOTO) process and procedures.
- Inspect and service cranes, forklifts, rigging, and other items as needed.
- Install additional equipment or move existing equipment with necessary support hookups.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, maintenance repairs, and inspections including maintaining records and reports.
- Assist in developing maintenance plans.
- Other duties as assigned by supervision.
- Monitor and maintain facility grounds, which include grass trimming, weed removal, trash pick‑up, parking lots, and any other activities necessary to preserve the professional appearance of the property.
- Painting & power wash as needed.
- Maintain a meticulously clean and organized work area.
- Responsible for the maintenance of company facilities, including offices, to meet federal and local regulatory standards.

- Report or, if qualified, correct immediately all equipment malfunctions, unsafe equipment and acts, material revisions and product deviations to supervisor.

- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred. - Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial or warehouse maintenance. - Other Requirements:
Familiarity with mechanical systems, electrical repair, and basic groundskeeping equipment; strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
