BG Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Make Ready Technician to join our team in Gahanna, OH (43230). This role is perfect for a motivated individual with strong work order experience who can efficiently handle the majority of day-to-day maintenance tasks and ensure apartment homes are ready for new residents.

Position Overview

As a Make Ready Technician, you will be responsible for preparing vacant units for move-in by completing work orders and performing general maintenance tasks. This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, the ability to "punch out" units, and the skills to complete approximately 80% of incoming maintenance requests independently and efficiently.

Monday - Friday

* Hours:

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

* Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch break

* Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

* Complete make-ready/punch-out tasks to prepare units for new residents

* Perform general maintenance work orders across the property

* Address common repair needs including minor plumbing, electrical, and general upkeep

* Ensure units meet quality standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality

* Identify and report larger maintenance issues when necessary

* Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner

* Work efficiently to meet deadlines and property turnover goals

Qualifications

* Prior apartment maintenance or make-ready experience preferred

* Strong work order and punch-out experience required

* Ability to independently handle the majority of routine maintenance tasks (approx. 80%)

* Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

* Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Dress Code
