Location
Columbus, OH – 2400 Sobeck Road, Columbus OH 43232
Work schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (occasionally weekends). Remote work may be possible for candidates whose primary residence is within the AAA Club Alliance footprint (Washington DC and 13 states including Ohio).
- Pay range: $18.24 – $28.42 per hour (final salary based on experience and location).

- Accurately and timely repair and maintenance of club fleet and customer vehicles, including passenger cars and light/medium‑duty trucks.
- Perform diagnostics and repairs of engines (gas and diesel), automatic and manual transmissions/transaxles, suspension and steering systems, brakes (including ABS/traction control), electrical systems, heating and air conditioning, and engine performance.
- Complete all paperwork accurately, including repair information on work orders and state/emission inspection data.
- Verify repairs by re‑testing systems and conducting road tests as needed.
- Maintain in‑depth knowledge of specialized repair skills and develop additional technical capabilities to support flexible assignment needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of automotive technician experience (strongly preferred).
- ASE certification in at least two categories or equivalent manufacturer certification, with ability to attain required certifications within 12 months of hire.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Positive pre‑employment screening (criminal, drug, motor vehicle) and successful physical examination as required by the Department of Transportation.
- Proficient with PC‑based automotive computer equipment and software applications.
- Ability to operate passenger vehicles and light/medium‑duty trucks with both automatic and manual transmissions.
