3rd Shift Custodial Lead (260004DV)

State House, Columbus, OH 43215

Full‑time, 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM (3rd Shift)

$26.00 per hour

• Lead and supervise custodial staff by providing direction, training, and performance evaluations.
• Conduct quality‑control inspections to ensure high cleanliness standards.
• Coach staff and give constructive feedback to promote professional development.
• Participate in hands‑on custodial tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, washing floors, walls, doors, trash pickup, polishing brass, and dusting.
• Act as acting Custodial Manager for the shift, taking initiative and solving problems.

• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in custodial or facilities management.
• Strong inspection, feedback, and coaching skills.
• Ability to perform a variety of custodial tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor.

Schedule:

9:00 PM – 5:30 AM. May be exposed to dirt, dust, fumes, and noise.
