Schedule: Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)

Position Overview

The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and appearance of the community. This role involves completing service requests, performing general repairs, and ensuring apartment homes are ready for new residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry
• Respond promptly to service requests and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
• Prepare vacant units for move-in readiness by completing unit turns and inspections
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure systems and equipment are functioning properly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Work collaboratively with property management and team members

Qualifications

• Previous apartment or residential maintenance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of general maintenance repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC basics)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Professional attitude with a strong customer-service mindset
