Serves as a floating supervisor throughout all accounts to supervise and coordinate activities of custodians engaged in cleaning and maintaining facilities. Performs cleaning tasks as needed.

• Travel to various contract sites in a floater capacity to fill‑in for supervisors during absences.
• Oversee a staff of custodians responsible for cleaning an assigned property and conduct regular inspections to monitor the cleanliness of the facility.
• Operate machines such as floor buffers, floor scrubbers, and carpet cleaners as needed.
• Clean general office and common areas: entrance glass and doors, water fountains, elevators, stairwells, and furniture.
• Clean floors using dust mops, wet mops, vacuum cleaners, and strip and wax floors as needed.
• Disinfect and clean restrooms, including all equipment and fixtures, and refill paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
• Deliver janitorial supplies and equipment to various locations as needed.

• Train new employees and report progress to supervisor; provide input on performance evaluations and make recommendations on hiring and dismissals.
• Respond to requests from facility building manager to conduct various maintenance and clean‑up activities.
• Ensure cleaning rags have been laundered and are available for daily use.
• Empty trash cans and change liners.
• Utilize all available cleaning tools and products to ensure a well‑kept environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One to three years of experience in housekeeping or custodial work required; supervisory or leadership role helpful.
• Must have a current, valid OH driver’s license and personal car insurance.

• Ability to operate cleaning machines and equipment.
• Clear verbal communication skills and ability to give and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work and concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions.
• Ability to use good judgment and think quickly and rationally in difficult or stressful situations.

• Exposed to moderate noise levels.
• Exposed to potentially hazardous bodily fluids or chemicals, and fumes or airborne particles.

• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, balance, grasp, and push for extended periods of time.
• Will perform repetitive wrist, hand, and/or finger movement.
• Will move up and down from/to sitting position on the floor.
• Regularly lift and/or carry up to 10 pounds; heavier lifting is occasionally required.
• Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
