We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Tech for our property, Schrock Park. The Maintenance Tech II position plays a critical role in ensuring the overall functionality, safety, and appearance of our property. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repairs, responding to service requests, and contributing to the well-being and satisfaction of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Complete work orders promptly and efficiently including maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and service requests
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure all equipment including but not limited to HVAC, appliances, etc. are in good working order.
- Conduct regular inspections of common areas, grounds, and apartment units, identifying and addressing maintenance concerns and safety hazards.
- Complete/assist unit turns and inspections
- Maintain the curb appeal of the property by performing landscaping, groundskeeping, and snow removal duties when needed.
- Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Performs additional duties as needed to support business operations
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of property maintenance or related experience
- Working knowledge of maintenance tools, safety procedures and general repair practices
- Willingness to obtain certifications in HVAC and CPO or other relevant certifications if needed
- Strong resident relation skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand/walk for the majority of the day
