Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Starting hourly rate is $24.00 (will be determined based on relevant experience). PLUS Shift differential for 2nd, 3rd shift and weekend shifts.

Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Reliability Technician to maintain manufacturing, packaging, and site facility equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing preventive and corrective work, documenting tasks, and participating in continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide experienced service and technical expertise for manufacturing, packaging, and site facility equipment, completing predictive, preventive, and reactive work to ensure reliable performance.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment, making decisions regarding business impact, prioritization, cost, and lead time.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying potential issues, executing improvements, and driving process enhancements.
  • Monitor equipment to identify problems, conduct root‑cause analysis, and recommend remediations independently or with support.
  • Communicate regularly with MRTs, Team Lead, Coach, and customers regarding equipment status and improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate written and electronic documentation per policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines; support the development and review of preventive maintenance work instructions.
  • Collaborate with Optimizers and Engineers on projects, including FAT/SAT and other testing, to ensure equipment meets site standards.
  • Participate in and lead team initiatives such as 5S+1, CIAs, maintenance best‑practice initiatives, and performance center meetings.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent). Specialized education or training in mechanical maintenance or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of industrial equipment maintenance, including manufacturing or packaging equipment.
  • Minimum of 4 years total experience in a technical field.
  • On‑the‑job training accepted if technical competency can be demonstrated.
  • Mechanical and technical aptitude with strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, belt/chain drive, gearboxes, clutches & brakes, fasteners, lubrication, bearings, seals & gaskets.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tool safety, selection, and application.
  • Specialized tool skills (torque wrench, drill press, tap & die, etc.).
  • Experience with schematics, P&, and ISA symbols & numbering.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, detail orientation, and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Computer literacy: MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and experience in CMMS or equivalent systems.
  • Accuracy in record‑keeping and adherence to Work Instructions and SOPs.
  • Willingness to follow directions, work off‑shifts, weekends, and be on‑call as required.
  • Ability to climb a 6‑foot ladder.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification from an accredited organization or society in specialized troubleshooting or education.
  • Experience with complex technical equipment.
