The Distribution Engineering team enables lululemon’s North America fulfillment network to operate safely, efficiently, and organization is organized around three pillars:
Campus Engineering, MHE and Automation Engineering, and Facilities. Reporting to the Director of Engineering & Facilities, the Senior Manager, Facilities leads the Facilities teams across all North American Distribution Centers, driving partnership, collaboration, and operational efficiency.
- Provide strategic leadership for Facilities operations across the North American Distribution Center network.
- Develop and execute a network‑wide facilities and asset management strategy, covering building systems, MHE, controls, utilities, and critical assets.
- Establish standardized maintenance and reliability programs, including preventative and predictive maintenance, asset criticality, and lifecycle management.
- Own the North America Facilities operating model, ensuring consistency in processes, technician capabilities, maintenance standards, safety, training, vendor management, and CMMS utilization.
- Provide governance for enterprise CMMS systems, maintenance planning, asset data integrity, performance reporting, inventory management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Distribution Operations, Automation Engineering, Technology, FP&A, Health & Safety, Construction, and leadership to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
- Serve as the Facilities functional leader for new DC launches, expansions, retrofits, automation deployments, and major capital projects.
- Own the facilities capital planning process, including multi‑year asset replacement strategies and capital budgeting.
- Manage facilities operating and capital budgets, identifying opportunities to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Establish and monitor network‑level KPIs (equipment uptime, PM compliance, technician utilization, safety, maintenance costs, inventory accuracy, vendor performance, asset health).
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, Canadian Labour, environmental regulations, fire and life safety, and company standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop a geographically distributed team of Managers, Supervisors, Controls Technicians, and Maintenance Technicians.
- Champion continuous improvement, sustainability, energy optimization, and operational innovation.
- Lead through lululemon’s IDEA commitments and cultivate an inclusive, high‑performing culture prioritizing safety, accountability, and collaboration.
- 12+ years of leadership experience in a Distribution Center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or similar industrial environment.
- 7‑10 years of direct people management of hourly and salaried employees across multiple teams and sites.
- 5+ years of experience with PLCs, controls systems, or industrial automation.
- 5+ years of experience with material‑handling equipment and complex integrated systems maintenance.
- 4‑year college degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with powered equipment (pallet jacks, high‑bay pickers, reach trucks) and MHE such as sortation, conveyance, and pick towers.
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) expertise preferred.
