The estimated base salary range for this role is “$145,000 to $185,000” per year.
Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors (salary may be adjusted based on geographic location)

Reporting to the Director, AS Operations Excellence and partnering closely with plant leadership teams, the Manager, AS Reliability & Maintenance leads the development and implementation of maintenance and reliability programs, standards, and best practices across AS manufacturing facilities. This role partners with plant maintenance and operations teams to improve equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, asset performance, and operational efficiency through preventive, predictive, and precision maintenance practices.

This manager will also provide technical support, monitor performance metrics, and assist with continuous improvement initiatives that support safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives. The manager champions reliability and maintenance skill and competency development across broad operational leaders and teams and develops reliability subject matter experts and capabilities across AS manufacturing operations.

What does a Manager, Reliability & Maintenance do? Safety, Environmental and Sustainability
  • Supports the development and execution of the company’s EHS strategy within the maintenance organization.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Develops a culture of zero injuries through risk assessment awareness and a commitment to eliminating workplace hazards.
  • Works with sites to achieve high standards of 5S and housekeeping to minimize risk and maximize operational performance.
Maintenance & Reliability Strategy and Standards
  • Develops and supports the implementation of AS reliability strategies, improvement plans, and standards to enhance asset condition, process health, work practices, and workforce capabilities.
  • Identifies opportunities for maintenance and reliability improvement and recommends solutions.
  • Implements approved reliability initiatives and process improvements.
  • Shares and drives maintenance and reliability best practices across assigned facilities and supports training and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Develops dashboards and reporting of maintenance and reliability performance metrics for assigned facilities.
Develop, Implement, and Improve Maintenance Management System Best Practices
  • Supports the implementation and continuous improvement of maintenance management system processes related to maintenance metrics, reporting, and work management.
  • Implements operator basic care processes to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • Leads preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including lubrication, vibration analysis, thermal imaging, time-based maintenance, and work order tracking.
  • Optimizes down-day effectiveness processes to improve maintenance execution and equipment availability.
