Join our team as a Facilities Coordinator and play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all who walk through our doors. At the YMCA, we believe that every role contributes to our mission of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. In this hands-on position, you'll lead custodial operations, support general maintenance, and help preserve the integrity of our spaces.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and distance vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; with at least one year of custodial experience.
- Must have ability to:
- follow instructions and work with little or no supervision ? work with chemicals and identify stains and use proper chemicals for their removal.
- Operate manual and power equipment
- Must possess knowledge of methods of maintaining, cleaning and preserving a variety of surfaces; proper use of a wide range of cleaning chemicals according to state and federal regulations.
