Floor Care Office Cleaning Specialist

Floor Care Office Cleaning Specialist position in downtown Columbus:
Long-term employment, weekly pay, bonuses, benefits, parking pass provided!

Shift and Pay:

  • Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am (Office Cleaning at 77 S. High St) $16/hr
  • (Scheduled hours and days may vary depending on the needs of the site)

    Job Summary:

    Individual is responsible for cleaning offices and restrooms. Individual will provide cleaning services and ensure specifications are met. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and comprehensive drug screen.

    Essential Functions/

    Job Duties:

    • Perform cleaning duties to maintain contract specifications and customer requirements.
    • Floor care which may include, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
    • Adhere to uniform requirements for each contract site.
    • Adhere to safety and PPE standards required for job duties.
    • Possess the ability to clean office areas, empty trash cans and replace liner, vacuum carpet, clean glass windows and doors, clean water fountains.
    • Clean floors using dust mops, wet mops.
    • Maintain restrooms. Disinfect all surfaces including toilets and urinals, sinks and counters, sweep and wet mop floors, clean mirror, change all paper and soap products, empty all trash containers.
    • Maintain cleanliness of elevators, stairwells, public lobby areas, and garage and plaza areas.
    • Spot clean carpets and office furniture as needed.
    • Ability to operate cleaning equipment, scrubbing machines, wet vacuums, carpet extracts and other related equipment.
    • Secure buildings/floors and turn off lights at end of shift.
    • Must possess the ability to follow instructions and be able to be tactful when dealing with co-workers, tenants, visitors, and the general public.
    • Participate in special meetings and projects when required.
    • Develops and prepares reports and correspondence as required on related duties, determines need and requests necessary equipment and supplies.
    • Practice good work habits that will be a positive role model for individuals with disabilities.
    • Assist individuals with disabilities as they move from floor to floor or work areas at the assigned site.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
