Janitorial Cleaning Staff

Essential Job Functions:

Required Qualifications :

• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to read, write and speak English efficiently to understand instructions, complete tasks and communicate with supervisors and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial setting
• Knowledge of proper sanitation and disinfection practices

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to always (95% - 100%) lift and maneuver 10 pounds in any range of motion combination from ground/ankle height through above shoulder height for the 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to frequently (65% - 90%) lift and maneuver 15 pounds in any range of motion combination from ground/ankle height through above shoulder height for the 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to often (35% - 60%) lift and maneuver 30 pounds in any range of motion combination from ground/ankle height through above shoulder height for the 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to occasionally (5% - 30%) lift and maneuver 50 pounds in any range of motion combination from ground/ankle height through above shoulder height for the 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to always (95%-100%) walk and stand for the 8-hour shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach during routine cleaning tasks.
• Ability to push or pull carts, vacuums and other cleaning equipment.

Travel Requirements:

• On-site critical role. No travel.

Salary range for this position is:
