Live The Mission

The Floor Tech performs daily cleaning of facility floors, ensuring a clean, attractive facility in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

The Floor Tech makes independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility. Implements and interprets the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department. Performs proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and sanitation.

Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc. Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information. Understands and follows company policies including harassment and compliance procedures. Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance training.

Maintains floors by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing. Exhibits excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients. Assists in the evacuation of patients. Demonstrates dependable, regular attendance. Concentrates and uses reasoning skills and good judgment. Communicates and functions productively on an interdisciplinary team. Sits, stands, bends, lifts, pushes, pulls, stoops, walks, reaches, and moves intermittently during working hours.

Reads, writes, speaks, and understands the English language.
