Job Description
SC Bodner Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Arden Pines, a ± 250-unit, Class-A multifamily community currently under construction with an anticipated opening date of Fall 2025. We are looking for a knowledgeable candidate with a strong work ethic to manage the routine and preventative maintenance of the community grounds, buildings, equipment, and tools.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Troubleshoots and performs maintenance and/or repair the following daily:
Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Tile, Carpet, Roofing, ceiling and exhaust fans, lighting, smoke alarms, appliances, structures, door locks, boiler, water systems, security, pools, grills, ponds. - Supervise, direct, and delegate general maintenance tasks to staff.
- Support and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety programs.
- Maintain property safety and cleanliness, including debris and snow removal.
- Identify and support preventative maintenance programs and training initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA standards and laws.
- Communicate regularly with the Community Manager regarding maintenance issues.
- Assist with move-in repairs, grounds maintenance, and minor interior/exterior painting.
- Coordinate maintenance staff on-call schedule and perform emergency duties.
- Properly dispose of hazardous materials and maintain positive resident relationships.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Multifamily experience preferred.
- Knowledge of property management maintenance and laws.
- Ability to supervise and organize staff.
- Effective communication skills and a valid Driver’s License.
- Constant physical activities: standing, bending, climbing, pushing, reaching, grasping, lifting, etc.
- Ability to lift over 150 lbs with assistance and perform physical maintenance tasks.
Must be able to see, hear, and speak effectively to perform maintenance duties and communicate with residents and staff.
Driving RequirementsFrequent use of personal transportation with a valid driver’s license required.
Work Environment- Indoor and outdoor conditions, with exposure to various hazards and the need for PPE.
