Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Clean Utilities Technician – Night Shift
Support the manufacturing process by managing clean utility systems and equipment within mechanical rooms.
Responsibilities- Initiate, operate, monitor, maintain, and shut down clean utility systems and equipment.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on clean utilities that support manufacturing.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform hands‑on work on pumps, motors, WFI stills, steam generators, and piping.
- Conduct WFI point‑of‑use flushing and other related activities.
- Maintain documentation and records on validated equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with other departments and contractors for scheduling repairs and maintenance.
- Communicate with management regarding change documentation and planned/unplanned work events.
- Follow cGMPs, Good Business Practices, and all safety procedures.
- Improve equipment uptime, line efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness through condition monitoring, troubleshooting, and engineering change assistance.
- Support 12‑hour night shifts on a 2‑2‑3 schedule.
- Provide effective customer service to Operations and other customers.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience.
- Authorized to work full‑time in the United States; no visa or work‑authorization sponsorship.
- Must pass required background check and drug screening.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
- Experience with basic troubleshooting tools such as multimeters and calipers.
- Proficient in business software (Maximo, Microsoft Outlook, Office).
- Team‑work orientation and effective communication in English.
- Ability to work around equipment, climb ladders and stairs, and use PPE.
- Exposure to harsh weather, powders, liquids, and gases.
- Work 12‑hour overnight shifts with a 2‑2‑3 schedule.
- Overtime may be required during shutdowns, emergencies, or periods of high demand.
Hourly wage: $21.27 – $41.25. Eligible for company bonuses (based on performance).
