Recreation Facilities Maintenance Person

• Assist full‑time staff with operation and maintenance of the ice rink.
• Perform facility maintenance, including knowledge of safety standards, emergency procedures, and relevant codes for equipment and machinery such as Zamboni.
• Monitor events and patrol facilities to ensure appropriate behavior and respect for facilities.
• Perform related duties as needed or when the situation dictates.
• Assist with general ice arena facility maintenance.

• High School Diploma.
• One to three years of experience in building maintenance and/or rink maintenance.
• Certification in CPR & First Aid.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to respond to general public inquiries, interact effectively and diplomatically, and assist as needed.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Dependable work history.
• Subject to passing CORI (Criminal Offenders Record Information).

Salary: $17.50–$21.00 per hour.

Hours:

Varied work hours including weekends, part‑time up to 19 hours per week.
Position ends 4/5/2027.
