The Math Specialist provides targeted mathematics intervention directly to students, while also coordinating, planning, and refining classroom instructional practices to ensure successful curriculum implementation and alignment.
RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- CT Certification: (013), (305), (005) or other applicable/related certification
- Minimum of five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience
- Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based math best practices and high-quality instruction, with a thorough understanding of the standards for mathematical practices required to drive student growth
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
- Start Date:
August 18, 2026:
New Teacher Orientation, August 19-21:
Professional Development, First Day of Classes:
August 25, 2026 - 10-month, school year position
- Salary and benefits per the Education Association of Clinton collective bargaining agreement
