At Jefferson House we provide excellent long-term care and rehabilitation services to seniors in the greater Hartford area for over 120 years. We are comprised of a skilled and caring staff which provides seniors with Nursing Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Spiritual Services, and Social Services, aimed at caring for the whole individual.
This position requires previous housekeeping experience and the ability to operate heavy floor cleaning equipment. Under direct supervision of the Housekeeping/Environmental Services manager, performs work of ordinary difficulty and assumes responsibilities in the area of Housekeeping/Environmental Services. General cleaning and routine related activities in assigned areas according to the department standards, policies and procedures. Maintains a clean and sanitary environment for patients, visitors and hospital personnel.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
- 1 year+ of previous cleaning experience.
- Ability to operate heavy floor cleaning equipment
- Able to follow safety procedures as trained
- Flexible team player able to interact well others

Part-time (2 - 39 hours)
Shift Details:
- Sunday 11am - 6pm
- Monday-Thursday 12pm-6pm
