The Product Application Specialist plays a key role in helping grow our refrigerated systems business through interaction with Customers, Sales Representatives, Dealers, Engineers of Record (EORs) and Regional Sales Managers. The ideale candidate can configure our refrigeration system products to meet the application needs of the Customer, manage multiple projects concurrently, work independently, has an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoys solving problems.

• Liaise with third‑party engineers, customers, vendors and outside sales to determine customer requirements and specifications for jobs to be designed and to understand how product should be applied.
• Generate customer legend sheets and specifications.
• Calculate refrigeration load requirements and parameters.
• Construct full end‑to‑end proposals (entire refrigeration systems) for products to include racks, gas coolers, compressors, condensers, evaporators, controls and any other ancillary equipment to ensure the product is applied to customer expectations.
• Act as consultant to customer on new store installation or full‑store remodels and help shape demand to best solutions.
• Utilize proprietary product application software to turn around proposals within established service levels.
• Build quality into every step and ensure, once an order is entered, that all functions downstream in process have all information needed.
• Enter customer orders in a timely fashion.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or one of the following:
• Minimum of 5 years in HVAC/R field (technician or product application).
• Diploma from accredited HVAC/R institution with 2 years HVAC/R experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint).

• 2‑3 years’ direct experience in a technical role within the commercial refrigeration industry.

• Ability to read and interpret store layout drawings / fixture plans.
• Superior communication skills and customer service.
• Great attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and openness to coaching and constructive feedback.
• Adept at learning and using new tools and systems.
• Intellectually curious with strong problem‑solving skills.
