Peak Season Repair Specialist

Responsibilities

• Learn to repair vehicle glass in the classroom and hands‑on with guidance of experienced technicians.
• Repair chips, cracks and other auto glass issues on customer vehicles.
• Manage work orders, customer documentation and communication through the Safelite handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology.
• Promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers.
• Clean customer vehicles during wait/idle time and perform housekeeping tasks.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, company‑issued tools, and chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

Competitive weekly base pay starting at $18.50 per hour.

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license and any other licenses required by law.
• Completion of Safelite Safe Tech™ certification (required).

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.; assist with windshields 26–50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, bend and twist body.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with all laws; agreement to be monitored via camera/video surveillance.
• Professionalism and passion for customer service.
• Capacity to work outside in various weather conditions and extreme temperatures.
• Ability to work with chemicals (including flammable chemicals) as required.
• Flexibility to work scheduled days with adjustable start and end times.
• Problem‑solving ability, independently and collaboratively.
• Reading, writing and interpreting English language and technical directions.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform and PPE policies.
• Stability under professional or personal pressure and opposition.
