I & D Supervisor

Overview

• Travel to shows as a Derse representative and supervise show site labor and Derse personnel.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Account Teams regarding put-to-work meetings, work orders, job questions, change orders, and show/event site setups.
• Organize multiple installations at a trade show as needed.
• Prepare check requisitions for show site inventory supplies.
• Maintain field service equipment.
• Inventory client properties as needed.
• Stage and load outbound shipments for the division.
• Visually inspect, check for accuracy, apply safety labels, and disburse as necessary.
• Enter receipt of all shop stock items into the computer system.
• In the shop, lead large client service projects from start to finish, work independently or with assigned service or construction personnel.
• Direct display and helper personnel in completing service projects on time and within estimated hours per written work orders.
• Train new service personnel on Derse service policies and procedures for assigned accounts.
• Be fully knowledgeable of all client properties for accounts assigned.
• Perform minor repairs on assigned client exhibits and properties.
• Develop strong relationships with assigned clients.
• Use and set up all necessary power equipment and hand tools.
• Safely operate a forklift when necessary.

• High school diploma and 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Previous Install & Dismantle experience within the industry preferred.
• Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel for assigned clients/projects required.
• This position must reside within the Dallas area.
