About Us: Located at Maligne Lodge in beautiful Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada, Wicked Cup cafe serves organic coffee and teas as well as a health-conscious breakfast and afternoon menu.
Job Description: Wicked Cup is looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for the menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain quality and speed of output.Prepare meals according to Wicked Cup standards and to the prepared menu.Desire and ability to work as part of a team.Knowledge of company food specifications.Food handling.Attention to presentation and quality of the food.Maintaining a clean cooking and dishwashing area.Set-up and stock buffet station for groups.Prepare food for service: chop vegetables, butcher meat, prepare soups and sauces, etc.Qualifications
Have a positive attitude.Be punctual and reliable.Attention and eye for detail.Works well under pressure.Eager to enhance your product knowledge.Taking initiative and working well independently.Be a great team player.Previous experience in a full-service restaurant is an asset.Basic food handling and preparation knowledge.High tolerance for repetition.Adherence to cost control guidelines.Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.Must be eligible to work in Canada.Working Conditions
