Maintenance Technician – Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club

Georgia Veterans State Park / Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club, located in Cordele, Georgia, is looking for an extraordinary Maintenance Technician to support our high‑standard hospitality operations.

Lake Blackshear Resort spans 1,308 acres of pine and hardwoods adjacent to an 8,800‑acre cypress lakefront. The resort features 10 lake cabins, a full‑service fine dining restaurant and bar, catering, seasonal food and entertainment, an off‑site fitness center, a conference center, a marina with boat rentals, an 18‑hole golf course, 82 campsites (many waterfront), a pioneer camp area, three community shelters, four open‑air picnic pavilions, a swimming beach, a 3‑D archery course, and a military museum with static displays.

The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for all buildings and structures within the Resort and Park, ensuring reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems.

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in at least three of the following disciplines:

• Basic electrical repair
• Plumbing
• Air conditioning repair knowledge
• Painting
• Drywall patching
