Step into the Role Join our Corona-based team as the go-to expert who installs, services, and repairs commercial laundry equipment for a diverse set of customers. You’ll uphold Alliance Laundry Systems quality standards, policies, and procedures while keeping essential laundry operations running smoothly.

A Day in the Life8:00 AM — You review the day’s work orders, confirm parts availability, and stock your company vehicle. You verify single‑phase electrical requirements, grab drawings, and head to the first site.
10:00 AM — On-site, you handle a new equipment install: set, level, and connect; perform start-up and operation checks; then train end users on best practices. You document findings, test results, and recommendations in clear, accurate service notes.
1:30 PM — A preventive maintenance visit needs a belt change and a control board check. You disassemble components as needed, perform diagnostics, and either repair on the spot or initiate an order for the proper replacement parts—making sure everything is entered via email/ticketing and tied to the correct work order and invoice.
3:30 PM — An urgent call comes in from the Office Manager. You pivot to a nearby customer for an unscheduled repair, troubleshoot efficiently, and communicate any escalations to the Office Manager with clarity and professionalism.
5:00 PM — Back in the vehicle, you reconcile inventory used, submit expense reports, and finalize detailed service reporting to close out the day.

What You’ll Tackle Install, commission (start-up), operate-test, and repair commercial laundry equipment to company and safety standards.

Diagnose issues, explain findings, and provide user instructions to customers following installation or service.

Execute routine preventive maintenance; remove components for repair; order and replace faulty or worn parts.

Produce precise service reports summarizing all work performed.

Disassemble equipment/components for maintenance or repair in collaboration with teammates when needed.

Research, source, and place parts orders; review work orders and invoices to ensure timely parts procurement and on-time completion.

Maintain accurate inventory in your assigned company vehicle and submit proper expense documentation.

Travel to customer sites for on-site troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and emergency/unscheduled maintenance as assigned by the Office Manager.

Escalate top-level issues to the Office Manager and contribute ideas that improve processes and best practices.

Support additional tasks that keep the department running efficiently.

What You Bring High School diploma or equivalent (required).3+ years in commercial, military, industrial, or manufacturing equipment repair (preferred). An equivalent mix of education, training, and experience will be considered.

Working knowledge of single‑phase electric power equipment (required).

Experience with phone/email/ticketing dispatch systems for customer support (preferred).Comfort with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel (preferred).Skills That Set You Apart Strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and diagnose electro‑mechanical issues.

Excellent organization and attention to detail; able to self-manage multiple jobs and timelines.

Clear written and verbal communication; professional, positive, and collaborative across all levels.

Self-starting work ethic with initiative and tenacity.

Travel Work is primarily within the service territory; some overnight travel will be required.

Standard and

Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, stooping, bending, climbing, and manual dexterity are part of the job.

Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently; assistive devices are provided for heavier items.

Regularly talk, hear, and use hands to manipulate objects/controls; frequent computer-based work may require periods of sitting, close vision, and focus adjustment.

Valid driver’s license required; a company vehicle may be provided.

Clean Motor Vehicle Record required.
