• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Keep the facility clean and maintained in proper working condition
• Mop, sweep, vacuum, scrub, and maintain building floors
• Clean and stock restroom facilities
• Empty trash, waste, and recycling containers
• Wipe and sanitize tables, counters, furniture, and fixtures
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Wash dishes, load and unload dishwashers, and maintain kitchen areas
• Clean coffee pots and brew coffee for staff
• Mix cleaning solutions according to specifications
• Steam clean or shampoo carpets as needed
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors
• Restore building interiors damaged by fire, smoke, or water using commercial cleaning equipment
• Follow proper procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies using appropriate equipment or hand trucks
• Notify management of major repair or maintenance needs
• Order and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
• Set up and remove tables, chairs, decorations, ladders, and other equipment for meetings and special events

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment.
• Ability to work in a variety of indoor environments while following established safety procedures.

The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
