Utility Worker

MV Transportation is seeking a Utility Worker to support safe, reliable transit operations across our transportation and warehousing facilities. In this role, you will clean and sanitize vehicles and work areas, move and stage equipment and supplies, and assist maintenance teams with basic shop support. You will safely operate tools and material-handling equipment, follow work orders and schedules, and promptly report safety or maintenance concerns.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize vehicles, depots, and work areas to safety and cleanliness standards.
• Load, unload, and move parts, supplies, and equipment within yards and facilities.
• Assist maintenance staff with basic shop support and material handling tasks.
• Perform routine inspections of work areas and report safety or maintenance issues.
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely following company procedures.
• Follow schedules, work orders, and supervisor directions to meet service timelines.
• Maintain accurate counts of supplies and materials as directed.
• Adhere to all MV Transportation safety, PPE, and operational policies.
• Support special projects, seasonal tasks, and emergency response needs.
• Provide courteous support to drivers, mechanics, and operations staff.
