Laborer, Maintenance​/Cleaning, General Labor

This position is located at the Gulf Winds Golf Course, which is part of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department aboard Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, TX. Incumbent is under direct supervision of the Golf Course Manager. The purpose of this position is the maintenance and upkeep of the golf course to ensure that the greens are in excellent condition.

• Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
• Must successfully pass the E-verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
• You must go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9.
• May be required to pass pre-employment examinations.
• A valid State driver's license is required to operate motor vehicles.
• Must have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
• Applicant must reside within the local commuting area at time of applying. Local commute is defined within a 50-mile radius of the installation.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. National.
• Frequently lifts and carries parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and arm and leg movement to work tractor controls.
• Must follow safety practices and wear issued safety equipment.
• Work is performed outside - will be exposed to extreme heat.
