Job Summary
Field Engineer 2 will perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on diagnostic imaging equipment for one or more modalities within hospitals or healthcare systems in the Mobile, AL area. The role requires on‑site customer support at client locations and occasional work from a home office.
Responsibilities- Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting on medical equipment.
- Maintain relationships with customers and ensure timely communication, resolution, and proper follow‑up to drive customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Document all work performed, including ordering of parts.
- Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military education and a minimum of 3 years of experience servicing electrical equipment; OR High School Diploma/GED and a minimum 6 years of experience servicing electrical equipment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience servicing imaging equipment in MR, CT, PET, or Nuclear Medicine.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to be available after‑hours and/or work a rotating on‑call schedule, including weekends.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch or squat, kneel or crawl, sit and stand for long periods.
- Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level, flex or extend neck and have good hand and finger dexterity.
- Specific vision abilities may include color, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
