The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness while ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and operating efficiently. As a member of the Maintenance Team, you will be supported with the tools, training, and resources needed to succeed.

- Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby, restrooms, and kitchen.
- Sweep, mop, and scrub floors, including under equipment and furniture.
- Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, booths, and high‑touch surfaces.
- Clean restrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors, dispensers).
- Clean windows, doors, and entryways.
- Ensure all areas are stocked with necessary supplies (soap, paper goods, sanitizer).
- Keep parking lot, sidewalks, and landscaping clean and free of debris.
- Remove trash, grease, gum, and spills.
- Maintain trash receptacles and outdoor signage.
- Monitor landscaping, including weeds, mulch, and general appearance.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on equipment, including fryers and vats (filtering, cleaning, boil‑outs).
- Access roof to clean HVAC filters, condensers, and coils.
- Follow the Planned Maintenance Calendar and complete all assigned tasks.
- Report and follow up on any broken or unsafe equipment.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain a safe work environment by addressing leaks and wet floors immediately; following all mopping procedures, using dry mop and proper signage.
- Correct and report hazards to management immediately.
- Properly use and operate equipment, including power washer, ladder, blower, filtering machines, and pallets.
- Use proper lifting techniques at all times to safely handle equipment and supplies and prevent injury.
- Assist management and team members during busy periods when needed.
- Complete maintenance logs, checklists, and required documentation.
- Participate in routine walk‑throughs and safety inspections.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and respectful demeanor with customers and team members at all times.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and remain productive throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and cleaning procedures (training provided).
- Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Arrive to work on time and ready to work as scheduled.
- Maintain consistent attendance and reliability.
- Follow proper call‑in procedures when necessary.
- Fast‑paced and high‑stress restaurant environment.
- Includes outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including heat and sun exposure.
- Requires standing, bending, lifting, and working with cleaning chemicals.
- Must be comfortable working at heights, including the use of ladders and access to rooftop areas when required.
- Able to arrive at work by 5:00 AM or earlier as required for truck deliveries.
