Position Overview
We are hiring immediately for a JANITOR position at 6300 Ocean Dr., Corpus Christi, TX 78412. The role requires prior janitorial and custodial experience. Pay is $15.00 per hour. The schedule is full‑time with morning and evening shift options. The company is willing to train applicants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
- Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
- Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement.
- Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment, sanitizes all surfaces, and follows the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
- Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
- Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete the task.
- Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
- Strips, scrubs, buffs and refines floors; shampoos carpet.
- Contributes to the team and exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Prior janitorial and custodial experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
