Wind Borne Systems in Corpus Christi, TX is hiring a part-time balloon launch operator to support weather forecasting. You will launch high-altitude weather balloons and collect atmospheric data used to improve forecasts for events like hurricanes and wildfires.
The role is outdoors, with weekends/evenings shifts; in-person required. No prior ballooning experience required though safety and teamwork are emphasized; salary $30 per hour.
