Xanitos is hiring Part-Time Hospital Housekeepers at Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana, Texas.
Job Title & CompensationHospital Housekeeper – Part Time
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Shift Times- 1st shift - 7:00am – 3:30pm
- 2nd shift - 3:00pm – 11:30pm
- 3rd shift - 11:00pm – 7:30am
Shift differentials offered for 2nd & 3rd shift.
Job OverviewThe Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps facilities in an orderly condition within a health care campus. Responsibilities are listed below and may vary by account.
Daily Responsibilities- Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Polishes metalwork.
- Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebasket and transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
- Required:
High school diploma or GED; or equivalent. - Successful applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a valid medical or religious exemption.
- Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
- Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
- Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. Requires ability to work in a standing position for long periods. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs. Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
Possible exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.
Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. Noise level usually quiet.
