* A 4% cost of living adjustment (COLA) is expected effective 7/13/2026Spend your summer working on projects that allow you to work outside while earning valuable work experience by working with a community-oriented organization with the dual mission of providing high quality drinking water and protecting one of the North Bay's most pristine watersheds.

40-hours per week. Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Work reporting address: 220 Tamal Vista, Corte Madera
Meter Box Maintenance (2 Positions)
Works with regular crews to prune vegetation around meter boxes, perform general cleaning and maintenance of boxes, and assist with installing or replacing meters and meter boxes. May provide assistance on a variety of administrative tasks including, but not limited to, data entry, sorting and printing documents. This summer assignment is scheduled for three (3) months duration at the Corte Madera location.

Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with effective written and verbal communication skills, some experience working with the general public, and a genuine interest in working with a community-oriented organization.

The ideal candidate must be at least 18 year of age and possess the following:

• Ability to effectively communicate and get along with others

• Ability to perform heavy physical work using various hand tools

• Ability to work outside, and in all weather conditions

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Excellent driving and navigation skills are required

• Possession of a valid class C California driver's license and satisfactory driving record

• Ability to provide own Safety boots upon first day of work
