Greek Peak Mountain Resort is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Waterpark Maintenance Technician to help keep our Cascades Indoor Waterpark safe, sparkling, and fully operational for guests of all ages.
What You'll Do:
- Test and treat pool water daily to ensure crystal-clear, balanced quality.
- Maintain all pumps, filters, and water systems to ensure proper function.
- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems on a set schedule (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Monitor the waterpark's appearance and cleanliness, ensuring it's guest-ready at all times.
- Report and assist with fixing any safety concerns or operational issues.
- Handle chemicals safely and in accordance with resort and state safety protocols.
- Keep organized logs and records of pool testing, maintenance, and inventory.
- Support resort operations by assisting in general maintenance projects when needed.
- Attend required team meetings and training sessions.
What It Takes to Succeed:
- Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. Two years of pool or building maintenance experience preferred. - Certification: CPO (Certified Pool Operator) license preferred. We'll provide training for the right candidate!
- Skills:
Strong understanding of water systems, basic electrical/mechanical repair, and pool chemistry. - Communication:
Able to read and follow technical instructions and write basic reports. - Math
Skills:
Comfortable with basic measurements (weight, volume, distance). - Problem Solver:
Able to think on your feet and troubleshoot real-time challenges.
Physical & Environmental Expectations:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push/pull up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and kneeling required.
- Must be comfortable working in wet, humid, or occasionally elevated environments.
- Exposure to pool chemicals, mechanical equipment, and occasional outdoor conditions.
