As a General Service Technician (GST), begin in an entry‑level position and professionally service guests' vehicles to ensure top‑quality work and exceptional guest experience. Receive training and certification in all services offered.
Responsibilities- Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours
- Demonstrate excellent guest service, providing clear communication and feedback
- Ensure the service center is clean and presentable
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid‑level technicians
- Check and communicate oil level to teammates; ensure tire pressure is proper
- Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
- Complete vehicle inspection
- Install new oil drain plug and filter; clean and lubricate fittings
- Document all work performed on repair order
- Report safety issues immediately to management
- Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
- Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, squatting
- At least 3 months of customer‑facing experience (retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
- At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Previous experience preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, independent motivation, dependable, team player
- Demonstrates responsibility, attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, identify problems, and make decisions
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, perform manual tasks including bending and squatting
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures, loud environments, and around exhaust fumes
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
