Team Leader (Production Supervisor)

Location:

Cottage Grove, OR. This position is salaried and includes a full benefits package, including low-cost health insurance, and 401(k) company contribution of 5% and company match up to 3%.

The training period will consist of learning the business, spending time with people in various roles, coaching, feedback, and on-the-job training. This will involve job shadowing other Team Leaders who work various shifts, so you must be available to work any shift. At the end of the training period, you’ll be assigned to a shift.

During your shift you will:

• Work the assigned shift, which can include nights, weekends, and being available for any shift.
• Operate in extreme temperatures, dusty and noisy conditions, and work from heights or in confined/restricted areas.
• Lift 2-50 pounds regularly, climb steps and ladders, and stand or work for 4 hours as needed to supervise hourly employees working 10- or 13-hour shifts.

• Leadership capability, particularly regarding Weyerhaeuser safety culture.
• Ability to connect and communicate with people in all roles in the business.
• Ability to adapt to ever-changing business conditions.
• Ability to drive improvement and solve difficult problems.
• Experience as a lead or held other leadership roles.

Salary range: $69,000 - $104,000 based on skills, qualifications and experience. Eligible for an annual merit increase program and a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Paid Time Off: 3 weeks of paid vacation for those scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week during the first year, 11 paid holidays per year (88 holiday hours).
