26-27, Custodian,, 4 Hours per Day

Custodian  School Year

This position completes a variety of tasks in the general care of assigned school and surrounding grounds in order to provide safe and clean school buildings for students, staff, and community.

• Cleans areas as assigned (i.e. rooms, halls, offices, restrooms, cafeteria, parking lots etc.).
• Collects recycling and trash from assigned areas.
• Cleans up spills (including bodily fluids) in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Creates work orders for maintenance repairs and responds to special requests for custodial services from staff members with supervisor approval.
• Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Secures building, including locks, doors and windows, as assigned.
• Other related duties, as assigned.

• Must be able to pass a K-12 background check.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• Preference will be given to applicants with K-12 custodial experience.
