** Job Details:
** This position is responsible for developing and managing the overall maintenance functions for the facility.
** Primary

Duties Include:

*** Coordinating maintenance activities with production scheduling
* Protecting and ensuring proper manpower requirements for the maintenance department
* Ensuring effective understanding and use of the Tyson CMMS System
* Training and developing maintenance management (supervisors) and hourly team members
* Assisting in the development and management of the plant maintenance budget
* Promoting and implementing maintenance best practices to increase equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs
** Additional Responsibilities:
*** Assisting the Manager Maintenance II in the development, implementation, and management of the annual capital budget
* Acting as project manager on capital and maintenance expenditure projects to ensure proper project scope development, equipment specifications, equipment selection, costing, planning, scheduling, installation, start-up, and commissioning

All efforts will support the plant’s direction of moving from a reactive, interval-based maintenance organization to a proactive, condition-based maintenance organization with world-class maintenance performance.

** Must be able to work different shifts depending on operational needs.

* Education:

** Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a technical discipline, or equivalent significant work experience.

* Experience:

** 5+ years’ work experience directing and managing; must demonstrate proven people and leadership skills.
** Computer

Skills:

** Strong working knowledge of CMMS, including SAP, Plantview, Workday, and MS Office Suite.
** Communication

Skills:

** Strong verbal and written communication skills.
** Supervisory:
