At Country House Council Bluffs, an Agemark Senior Living community, we're looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Director who enjoys solving problems, leading by example, and creating a safe, well‑maintained environment where residents and team members can thrive.

What You'll Do- Lead the Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry teams while creating a positive, service-focused culture.
- Maintain the community's buildings, grounds, equipment, vehicles, and building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
- Complete preventative maintenance and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
- Ensure resident apartments are clean, repaired, and move‑in ready.
- Coordinate vendor services, repairs, and department purchasing.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, life safety regulations, fire codes, and other applicable standards.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, emergency preparedness activities, and fire drills.
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and department documentation.
- Manage department budgets and ensure projects are completed efficiently and cost‑effectively.
- Assist with transportation and other community needs as required.
- Previous leadership experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A proactive problem‑solver who takes pride in delivering quality work.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience working with vendors and outside contractors.
- Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
