* Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Qualifications

Ability to operate MHE Material Handling Equipment

General knowledge of housekeeping equipment chemicals products and techniques

Ability to perform light general facility maintenance

Excellent organizational analytical and process efficiency skills

Strong initiative and drive for results

Experience in general housekeeping and light maintenance preferred

Physical Demands

Regular walking standing stooping kneeling balancing crouching reaching pushing pulling grasping hearing twisting lifting and repetitive hand movements

Occasional climbing may be required

Ability to lift over 50 lbs in some areas

Must have vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye

Must have hearing sufficient to safely operate MHE in a manufacturing or distribution environment

Work Environment

Moderate to loud noise levels

Exposure to moving mechanical equipment and precarious situations

Potential exposure to temperature excursions

Occasional exposure to fumes and airborne particles

Responsibilities

Responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and in an orderly fashion

Required to document all cleaning activities per SOP guidelines

Responsible for maintaining inventory of housekeeping supplies and entering supply orders

Responsible for running the floor scrubber and some MHE

Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of other positions to assist during urgency breaks absences or vacation coverage
